Philo:
No jeweled crown upon His head. No scepter, gold, or lovely clothing.
For He was born of lowliness. so says the scripture, thus fore-showing.
The stable and the manger bed suffice this King of ev'ry kingdom.
For whom else would a new star shine with host of angels brightly singing?
Artaban:
He looks into your soul, not just your eyes. The universe is His, and earth and skies.
He has no need for earthly wealth or fame, and living things all answer to His name.
Tziporah:
No palace grand or stately court can hold His majesty and power.
And yet it's possible that you might find Him in the quiet hour.
But if you walk among the lost, the contrite, and the poor down trodden,
it seems that you may spy Him there to bless the outcast and forgotten.
Philo:
But if you still can't find Him, you might ponder on this thought:
