In this song, Kaveh begs Artaban to return and assume his rightful position as head of the magi in Hamadan, Persia. Artaban retorts, referring to his prideful behavior toward Rashne, and stating that he is not worthy of nor would he do a good job as magupaiti. He further states that Kaveh would make a much better magupaiti than he. Read the lyrics for details.

Artaban:
I’m needed here. God has called me here to bless these people.
Kaveh and Artaban:
